Job summary

Federated Insurance in Owatonna, MN seeks a full-time Registered Nurse to join our Medical Management team as a Medical Management Representative, Monday–Friday in-office.

You will provide medical consultation for Workers' Compensation, Auto and Liability claims, perform telephonic case management, and collaborate with providers to review diagnoses, treatment plans, and work capabilities while coordinating claims strategies with the team.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Registered Nursing license in Minnesota.
• Minimum of 3 years clinical nursing experience, case management, or medical claims processing experience.
• Proficiency with computers and strong telephone communication skills.
• Ability to memorize/recall information quickly.
• An unquestioned ability to retain confidential business and personnel information.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical consultation for Workers' Compensation, Auto and Liability claims.
• Telephonic case management and develop an action plan for medical aspects on claims.
• Review diagnosis, treatment plan and work capabilities with treating providers.
• Coordinate claims strategies with the team to align with medical guidelines and state regulations.
