Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Hospital Inpatient/ED roles. The position supports 24/7 care, care coordination with the multidisciplinary team, and patient/family psychological support.

Requires current RN licensure and BLS; High School Diploma/GED required. BSN preferred; experience in rehab care is a plus. Located at OSF facilities in Illinois or Michigan.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED
• Experience: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• Licensure/Certification: American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.
• BSN preferred; RN experience in rehab care; EMR and MS basic proficiency

Responsibilities

• Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of RN licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum.
• Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
• Mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition.
• Operates in hospital units providing 24/7 care in inpatient/ED settings.

Pay range for this position is $34.25 - $51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Night Differential: $4.00/hr

Weekend Differential: $3.25/hr

$12,000 Sign-On Bonus

Overview

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED
• Experience: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• Licensure/Certification: Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a rehab care setting
• Other Skills/ Knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
