OSF HealthCare is seeking an RN to join the Hospital Inpatient/ED team in Peoria, IL. The role focuses on protecting, promoting, and restoring health through high-level nursing care 24/7 in a hospital setting.

Qualificações

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Illinois or Michigan is required.
• BLS provider certification required prior to start date.
• High School Diploma or GED minimum.
• BSN preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care coordination across hospital units with the care team.
• Assess and support symptoms and provide patient and family psychological support.
• Mentor assigned team members and promote evidence-based care practices.

Pay range for this position is $34.25-51.13/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure. This is an Hourly position.

Shift Differentials

• 3rd shift - $4.00/hour
• Weekends - $3.25/hour

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Protects, promotes and restores health and wellness by practicing at the highest level of the Registered Nurse licensure; collaborating with providers and multidisciplinary care team members to provide care coordination across the continuum. Assesses and supports physical symptoms, provides psychological support to patients, friends, and families, mentors assigned team members, promotes best practices, and maintains professional disposition at all times. The RN Hospital Inpatient/ED operates in units that provide 24/7 care in the hospital.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED
• Experience: Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing in appropriate state (Illinois or Michigan)
• Licensure/Certification: Current American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS is required prior to start date of employment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: BSN
• Experience: Experience as an RN in a rehab care setting
• Other Skills/ Knowledge: Electronic Medical Record and Microsoft application basic proficiency
