Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in Missouri is seeking an RN for Med/Surg 7E on a full-time schedule (36 hours/week, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM). The role includes nursing process-based patient care, coordination with departments, and safeguarding patient rights and privacy.

Qualifications include an RN license in Missouri (or compact license), applicable nursing degree (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN), and BLS. Hospital experience preferred; sign-on bonuses up to $20,000 for experienced nurses and up to $10,000 for new grads are

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• MO RN license or compact licensure in accordance with state board rules.
• Hospital experience preferred.
• BLS certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain professional accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
