Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for 7E Med/Surg at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO.

The role involves direct patient care in a 36-hour weekly, day shift environment from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced nurses and up to $10,000 for new graduates. Qualified candidates will have an RN license in Missouri (or compact) and may hold BSN; BLS is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN.
• Must hold and maintain a current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on unit.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process.
• Evaluate overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
