Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Med/Surg 7E in the Mercy Hospital South area of St. Louis, MO. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week with day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and a sign-on bonus for experienced and new grad nurses.

The RN will provide patient care, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes. Qualified candidates will have an RN license in Missouri (or compact), BLS, and a commitment to Mercy Service

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Missouri or compact licensure, per state regulations.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and evaluates care effectiveness.
