Job summary

Mercy South Medical 7E is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med/Surg unit. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with days 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A sign-on bonus is offered for experienced and new graduate nurses, with up to $20,000 and $10,000 respectively.

Required: Missouri RN license (or compact), BSN preferred, BLS certification due within 30 days of hire. Prior hospital experience is preferred; benefits include comprehensive coverage and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: Current Missouri RN license (or Compact license).
• Experience: Hospital experience preferred depending on unit.
• Certifications: BLS through American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluates care effectiveness and coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Participates in a collaborative team to support Mercy Service Standards and mission.
