Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie is expanding the 4 East unit, a Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma floor designed to support patient care needs and enhance outcomes.

The role requires inpatient acute care Med Surg experience, current RN licensure, and strong critical thinking. Join a team focused on trauma care in a 25-bed unit with day shifts, full-time schedule, and ongoing professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Inpatient acute care Med Surg experience required.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately based on patient needs and team competencies.
• Ensure compliance with Texas Nursing Practice Act and facility policies.
