Job summary

Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical Surgical Telemetry on the Day shift at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Waxahachie. 25-bed unit with a 5:1 patient ratio, fast-paced team environment, and strong interdisciplinary support.

We seek compassionate RNs with Cardiac/Telemetry and NIHSS experience. Magnet-designated hospital with leadership focused on nursing excellence and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Cardiac/Telemetry experience is preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) experience is preferred.
• RN license and active clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments and develop/adjust care plans.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families, document learning needs and progress.
• Delegate tasks appropriately while ensuring safety and compliance.
