Job summary

Cape Fear Valley Health System in Fayetteville, NC is seeking an experienced RN to join the 7 South Surgical Unit. The role involves coordinating patient care, rounds with physicians, and serving as a resource to staff while maintaining documentation and safety standards.

Candidates should have an Associate Degree in Nursing, be licensed in North Carolina, and preferably hold a BSN. A minimum of three years of clinical nursing experience is required, with strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily patient assignments
• Rounds with the physicians
• Acts as point of contact for the physicians and administrators
• Serve as resource to staff nurses, nursing assistants, monitors techs and unit secretaries
• Assists with procedures, checks orders
• Responsible for daily QC and equipment checks on unit
• Interfaces with Care Coordinator and discharge planning
• Interfaces with Patient Placement and nursing supervisors
