Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for a PRN day shift (7:00am - 7:00pm). You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with care teams, and adhering to nursing standards.

A strong focus on safety, documentation, and patient advocacy guides every shift. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active TX RN license or compact license, BLS and ACLS within specified timelines, and a BSN within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN license for TX or compact license.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire; BLS required at hire.
• BSN within 24 months of hire into RN position.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, report changes.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, document care in medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
