Job summary

Richmond University Medical Center in New York is seeking a registered nurse for the day shift (12 hours, 7:00 am–7:30 pm). You will plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, collaborating with all disciplines on the unit to achieve optimal outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds NYS RN registration and a nursing degree, with BSN preferred. 1–2 years Med/Surg experience and BLS certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• 1–2 years Med/Surg experience preferred; ventilator experience preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• Med-Surg certification preferred.
• Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
