Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Colorado Springs team. You will collaborate with the healthcare team to meet physical, emotional, and spiritual patient needs, while applying the nursing process to promote safety and quality care.

You will assess and plan care, perform procedures such as IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, and patient education. The role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualifying hires.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or nursing diploma/endorsement.
• RN license in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: medium work, lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual domains.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Perform therapeutic/diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization, collections).
• Maintain accurate patient charts; document status, interventions and outcomes.
• Advocate for patient safety and collaborate with the care team.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning needs.
