Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (RN) is required.
• RN License in state of employment is required.
• Physical requirements: Medium work; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs and intervene to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement the patient plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain accurate patient charts and use IT to communicate, manage knowledge, and support decision-making.
• Promote patient safety and rights; advocate for patients and families.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning readiness.

Education

Associate's Degree in Nursing

Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
