Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (or by endorsement).
• RN License in state of employment.
• Physical requirements: Medium work exert up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs; evaluate responses and intervene for optimal outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans; observe outcomes with interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate competency in IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Maintain patient charts accurately; document status, interventions, and outcomes; use IT to communicate and support decisions.
• Promote and protect patient health and rights; advocate for patients.
• Provide patient/family education and assess learning readiness and teaching effectiveness.
