AdventHealth in Hinsdale, IL is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time day shifts. You will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement nursing care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team.

The role requires an RN license in Illinois, BLS CPR, and an associate degree in nursing; BSN preferred. 36-hour weeks with a competitive hourly pay and potential sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Illinois RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Create and update individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
• Review and adjust care plans to improve outcomes.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate nursing tasks within the team.
• Participate in professional development and performance improvement.
