Zusammenfassung

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) with rotating weekends to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure excellent patient experiences and clinical outcomes.

You will evaluate health data, formulate care plans, teach patients and families, and advocate for patients within the standards of nursing practice.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• Associates degree okay to start, Bachelors degree required within 24 months of hire into RN position
• Current RN license in the State of TX or compact license
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years is required

• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments
• Formulate and execute nursing care plans
• Implement nursing care within RN scope of practice
• Develop and deliver teaching plans for patients about health promotion and restoration
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families
• Care for multiple patients directly or via delegation
• Evaluate patient responses and outcomes to interventions
• Engage in critical thinking for clinical data analysis and decision making
