Job summary

AdventHealth Palm Coast is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time day shift. You will conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and adjust individualized care plans, administer medications, educate families, collaborate with the care team, and document outcomes in the medical record.

You will monitor care effectiveness, abide by infection control and safety standards, provide emotional support, supervise staff, and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and departments to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and respond to code situations.
