Responsibilities include administering medications, educating patients and families, coordinating with medical staff, and maintaining thorough documentation while ensuring safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• EKG and life-support knowledge per program requirements.
• Fluency in English (read, verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and spiritual factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly updating as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, meds, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care activities and outcomes in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance in the facility.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare team members.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond to code situations promptly to stabilize patients.
