Job summary

Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team and educate patients and families. The role supports professional growth in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Day shifts with competitive benefits, including health, retirement, and ongoing education opportunities, are offered to qualified candidates with a current state license and BLS/ACLS credentials.

Qualifications

• State license required for RN
• BLS required at hire
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire/transfer
• NIHSS must be obtained within 90 days of hire/transfer
• BLS & ACLS through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and implement appropriate interventions per unit protocol.
• Administer, transcribe and document medications per hospital policy.
• Observe and document changes in patient status using the nursing process; report to physicians.
• Develop written plan of care and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Educate patients and families; provide instructions during admission, hospitalization and discharge.
