Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is seeking a dedicated RN for the 16-bed Surgical Unit. You will provide direct patient care, implement care plans, document patient status, and administer medications on day/night rotations with weekend and holiday obligations.

Minimum qualifications include ADN or BSN, current RN licensure, and BLS certification; one year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience is preferred. The facility offers strong benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
