Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for the NT6 Observation unit to provide acute care for cardiac, general surgery, and behavioral health cases. The unit features 43 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5–6 and a fast-paced, team-oriented culture.

A sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants with a 3-year commitment. The nurse will perform assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure smooth transitions and high-quality outcomes for patients

Qualifications

• RN license required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• Nursing Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care and initial assessment upon admission.
• Develops and implements plan of care with nursing interventions.
• Maintains safety and accurate documentation; communicates with team.
