Qualifications

• RN licensure in Texas required.
• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Administers medications within RN scope of practice.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, medications and self-care.
• Reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
