Qualifications

• Associates degree required; BSN preferred. BSN will be required within 3 years of employment.
• Registered Nurse license, eligible to practice in TX, required
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Acute Care RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, report changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, document care in the medical record.
• Provide compassionate care, respond to patient requests, anticipate needs and resolve them.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about condition, treatment plan, meds, side effects, and follow-up measures
