Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med/Surg to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care on a night shift. You will collaborate with providers, document thoroughly, and participate in an enhanced surgical recovery program.

The role supports stroke response times and sepsis detection innovations across a national health system. Requirements include Texas or compact RN license, a bachelor’s or associate degree, Basic Life Support, and at least one year of nursing

Qualifications

• RN Texas or compact license required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, document care in medical records.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about condition, plan, medications and follow-up.

Skills
