Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland – 4W Medical/Surgical in Shelby, NC is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for a 24-hour weekend program on a night shift (7pm–7am). The unit provides diverse medical/surgical care with a focus on stroke-ready, age-friendly services and collaborative care across disciplines.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, MN RN license, BLS, and NIHSS within 6 months of hire. Sign-on bonus eligibility is offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certificate obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience using evidence-based practice and strong communication.
