Mercy in Missouri is seeking an RN for Med Surg ICU on a PRN basis. The role uses the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinating with other departments and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications include graduating from a nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN), an active RN license in the state (or compact licensure), and 2+ years ICU experience. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• 2+ years of ICU Experience

Overview:

Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Position Details

RN- Med Surg ICU- PRN

1 shift in a 90-day period requirement

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: 2+ years of ICU Experience

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
