Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Med Surg ICU as a PRN clinician in Missouri. This role uses the nursing process to deliver patient care, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate care with other departments.

Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Position Details

RN- Med Surg ICU- PRN

1 shift in a 90-day period requirement

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: 2+ years of ICU Experience

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
