Job summary

Mercy is seeking an experienced RN for the Med Surg ICU on a PRN basis in Missouri. You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and ensure patient rights and confidentiality in support of Mercy Service Standards.

The role requires 2+ years ICU experience and an active RN license in Missouri or compact state, with BLS certification. The position involves lifting up to 50 lbs, standing and walking during shifts, and adherence to Mercy values.

1 shift in a 90-day period requirement

Qualifications

• Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Experience: 2+ years of ICU Experience

Certifications

• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements

• Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
