Job summary

Concord Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a defined patient population. The RN will gather data, interpret findings and develop individualized plans, while collaborating with the care team.

Licensure in New Hampshire and BLS are required, BSN preferred. The role includes medication administration, patient education and supervision of care activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current New Hampshire State Registered Nurse license required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a specified patient group.
• Gather data via history taking and physical assessment to inform care plans.
• Develop and revise the care plan based on patient needs and progress.
• Document care and patient progress; supervise unlicensed staff as needed.
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and post-discharge care.
