Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg General Surgery 3W unit. Location: Mercy Hospital South, St. Louis, MO. Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Days 7:00pm - 7:00am.

The role focuses on applying nursing processes, coordinating care with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Qualifications include MO (or compact) RN licensure, BLS, and hospital experience preferred. Education options span ADN, Diploma, or BSN; BSN favored.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active RN license.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Hospital experience preferred per unit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates care effectiveness among direct care givers and coordinates care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality per Mercy standards.
