Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg General Surgery 3W unit. The role involves applying the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinating with other departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Full-time schedule is 36 hours per week with a day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Sign-on bonuses are available: $10,000 for new graduates and a separate offer for RNs with 1+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or BSN.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
