Job summary
AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a registered nurse for night shift responsibilities in a comprehensive Med/Surg setting. You will assess patients across physical and psychosocial domains, develop care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families about conditions and treatments.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will document care activities and outcomes, ensure infection control and safety standards, and participate in performance improvement
Qualifications
- RN licensure required; BLS certification required.
- Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience; unit/state may vary.
- Associate's nursing degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physical and psychosocial domains.
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans and document outcomes.
- Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per orders and protocols.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and safety.
