Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and monitor progress in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. This full-time night-weekend position requires RN licensure and an Associate's degree in Nursing, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Nursing.

Candidates must be proficient in English and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills in a high-stress environment.

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal skill set, compassionate and respectful with patients and families under stress.
Works independently, self-motivated, follows physician and management direction.
Maintain safe knowledge of equipment, procedures, supplies, computer equipment and sterilization policies.
Must be proficient in English.
Ability to communicate effectively with team and patients.

Responsibilities

Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
Develop and implement patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team for continuous care.
Administer medications and treatments accurately according to prescribed protocols.
Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Document patient care activities to maintain accurate medical records.
