Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN Night shift. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications include an Associate's in Nursing, BLS, and RN license. Relocation assistance and a tiered sign-on bonus are available.

Qualifications

RN license in good standing
BLS certification required
Experience in acute care preferred
Fluent in English (read, verbal and written)

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate progress.
Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders.
Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and maintain communication.
Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve outcomes.
Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate care among the team.
Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement.
Respond promptly to code situations and stabilize patients.
