Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NT6 Observation unit. The unit cares for patients with cardiac, general surgical, and behavioral health needs, typically with a 24–48 hour stay. RN with >1 year experience, BLS, and a Nursing Diploma are required.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants, with a 3-year commitment. This fast-paced, team-oriented unit collaborates closely with physicians and ancillary staff.

Qualifications

• RN license required; BLS within 30 days.
• Nursing Diploma/education completed.
• RN with >1 year of hospital经验 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care as per unit standards and plan.
• Document nursing care and ensure accurate information for the care team.
• Complete initial assessment on admission and develop a care plan.
• Implement and modify the plan of care with ongoing evaluation.
• Ensure patient and staff safety and participate in shifts and meetings.
