Carle Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Rogers 8 med-surg unit. You will care for medically complex patients and focus on mobility and patient autonomy in a supportive team environment.

This position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus with a 3-year commitment and professional growth opportunities within Carle Health's magnet-designated system. Qualified candidates hold an Illinois RN license, BLS, a nursing diploma, and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Certifications: Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
• Education: College Diploma Nursing
• Work Experience: RN>1yr

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Implements procedures and theories related to the specific area of practice.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care and plans of care.
• Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops care plans.
• Delivers nursing interventions, ensures safety, and communicates with the care team.
