Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Rogers 8 Med-Surg unit, a busy department focused on complex medical-surgical care, mobility, and patient autonomy. You will document thoroughly, perform timely assessments, and ensure safe patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates hold an Illinois RN license, BLS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of RN experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and 3-year commitment accompany a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• RN license required in IL (IDFPR) or eligible for licensure.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• College diploma in nursing; RN with 1+ year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial assessment on admission and develop care plan.
• Document nursing care accurately for seamless team communication.
• Deliver medications per 5 rights and monitor patient safety.
• Provide patient education and coordinate with the healthcare team.
