Carle Health’s 9A Medical‑Surgical unit seeks an experienced RN for a fast-paced environment. The unit serves medically complex patients and emphasizes teamwork among nurses, providers, families, therapists, and pharmacists.

The role includes hands-on nursing care, patient assessments, and collaboration to ensure safe, high-quality care with a strong emphasis on communication and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
• Education: HS Diploma/GED; Associate's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform unit-specific nursing duties per scope of service.
• Complete initial patient assessment and develop plan of care.
• Communicate with the care team to ensure patient safety and care coordination.
• Maintain documentation and ensure accurate medication administration.
