The role emphasizes safety, infection control, and continuous improvement within a faith-based health system. Requirements include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Nursing, Florida RN licensure, BLS CPR, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• RN required with nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Licensure: RN in state of practice; BLS CPR required.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments spanning physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with regular reviews.
• Administer medications and treatments safely per orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care strategies.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective teamwork.
• Document patient information and care activities accurately in the medical record.
• Evaluate and adjust care plans to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to care team members.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement activities.
