Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and families. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective and compassionate care.

The ideal candidate will hold Florida RN licensure, BLS certification, and experience in acute care, with strong communication and documentation skills. Full-time day shift with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
• Experience in acute care setting preferred
• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments
• Strong documentation and care planning
• Team-based patient care environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly re-evaluate them.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and communicate effectively.
