Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and administer treatments. You will educate patients and families, collaborate with the care team, and ensure accurate documentation and safety standards are followed.

The role requires an RN license, strong English communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state (or eligibility) is required.
• Associate degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Fluent in English and proficient with basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans, regularly evaluating and revising as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, monitor for adverse reactions per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care to promote understanding and adherence.
• Collaborate with medical staff and departments to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.
