Job summary

Dignity Health in Red Bluff, CA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care across the patient journey. You will perform assessments, execute care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and safety.

Must hold California RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 90 days. This on-site role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and education, within a mission-driven hospital recognized for patient care quality.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel.
• Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate.
• Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate.
• Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients. Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems.
• Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching.
• Administers and controls narcotics and medications accurately and in a timely manner. Signs out narcotics as per hospital policy.
