Job summary

Dignity Health - St. Elizabeth Community Hospital in Red Bluff, California, is seeking an experienced RN to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform assessments, implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Current CA RN licensure and certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS) are required, with a preference for three years of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Current CA RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current PALS Certification (within 90 days of hire if candidate does not currently have)
• Three years acute care experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, consults with other practitioners as required and adjusts nursing care processes as indicated to ensure optimal patient care.
• Monitors medical condition of patients and reports changes to appropriate personnel.
• Reports abnormal diagnostic data to physician/shift coordinator/supervisor as appropriate.
• Demonstrates ability to perform technical nursing procedures/skills of patient care competently, seeking assistance when appropriate.
• Implements patient histories, assesses patients' conditions, and develops individualized care plans for assigned patients.
• Documents on care plans as patient care evolves, including resolution of problems.
• Assesses patient educational needs and barriers to learning. Implements multidisciplinary patient education care plan and documents patient teaching.
• Administers and controls narcotics and medications accurately and in a timely manner. Signs out narcotics as per hospital policy.

Job Requirements
