Job summary

Mercy Hospital Ada is seeking an RN for Med Surg 2N on a full-time night shift (7pm–7am). You will apply the nursing process to deliver patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• RN licensure in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Completes hospital nursing competencies and required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS) within required time frame.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.

Education

Graduate of an accredited RN program

RN Licensure (state/compact)

Hospital nursing competencies and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS)
