Job summary

Mercy Hospital Ada in Ada, OK is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical-Surgical (2N) night team. You will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, and uphold patient rights in a demanding acute care setting.

The role emphasizes clinical skill development, teamwork, and adherence to Mercy’s mission and service standards. Night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a three-shift-per-week schedule and a sign-on bonus for qualified

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program (ADN/BSN/Diploma).
• Current RN license in the state of practice and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification and hospital-required nursing competencies completed within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Ensure patient rights, safety, and confidentiality are maintained.
• Delegate and evaluate care provided by other direct caregivers.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatments and care plans.
