Mercy Hospital Ada is seeking an RN for Med Surg on the night shift (7pm–7am) to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process. The role emphasizes accountability, coordination with other departments, and safeguarding patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program (ADN/BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact license.
• Completion of required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS) within specified time frames.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
