UnityPoint Health – Des Moines is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 2 North Medical/Surgical unit. This acute inpatient role offers Day/Night shifts with every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time hires.

2 North provides orthopedic, gynecology, urology, and abdominal surgery care, with telemetry capabilities. Relocation assistance up to $10,000 is available, and our Total Rewards program includes comprehensive benefits and tuition reimbursement.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or IA Board-approved program.
• Current Iowa RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 12 months acute RN experience.
• RN Residency program available for new grads.

• Provide and coordinate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Complete documentation to ensure accurate patient records.
• Apply critical thinking to make independent judgments.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff within hospital policy.
• Assess patient and family needs; teach for discharge planning.
