Job summary

Carle Health’s Rogers 8 med-surg unit seeks an experienced RN. The role focuses on complex medical-surgical care, mobility, patient autonomy, and strong teamwork. Sign-on bonus $10,000 is available with a 3-year commitment.

RN with at least 1 year of experience and active licensure is required. Strong assessment, prioritization, and time‑management skills are essential. You will document care, administer medications using the 5 Rights, and coordinate with the team to plan and adjust patient

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with active licensure and BLS within 30 days
• RN with 1+ year of experience
• College Diploma in Nursing or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Performs all unit responsibilities and duties as defined for med-surg care
• Documents nursing care accurately to support the healthcare team
• Delivers care using the 5 Rights: Right Patient, Right Medication, Right Route, Right Dose, Right Time
• Maintains patient safety with fall prevention and isolation precautions
• Communicates effectively with the healthcare team to coordinate care
