Carle Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Rogers 8 med-surg unit to deliver complex medical-surgical care, with emphasis on mobility, autonomy, and patient-centered recovery. The unit offers a bright environment with strong teamwork and opportunities to refine multiple nursing skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN with current IL license (IDFPR)
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA)
• Education: College Diploma in Nursing
• Work Experience: RN >1yr

Responsibilities

• Performs all unit-specific RN duties and documents care
• Completes initial assessment and develops care plans
• Administers medications following the 5 Rights and ensures safety
• Communicates with team and delegates tasks to HCTrs
• Maintains patient safety, responds promptly to call lights and concerns
